Paris Pooches

If you’re a dog lover, you’ll be happy to know that French people are crazy about their dogs!!! Dogs are welcome everywhere, and all those old cartoons of French women with a poodle on a leash are pretty much true, except that you don’t see a lot of poodles anymore!!! Sometimes it seems like everyone in Paris has a dog!!! I think the two breeds I see most often are Dachshunds (a lot of long hair and wire hair, and many miniature), and French Bull Dogs. Hi Everyone,

I’ve been having a very busy summer, and in the past few weeks a good one, after a very bumpy late spring. I shared with you that we lost my beloved stepmother, my late son’s best friend, and even my daughter’s much loved little dog. We had one more big loss and heartbreak, before the summer got off to a decent start. New Addition

How could I forget to tell you? We’ve had a new addition since a few days before Christmas!!! A puppy!!! Another miniature Brussels Griffon. (When I got my first one, the breeder said that they’re addictive and I’d never be able to have just one. Ha!!! I thought….yeah, right, sure….just what I need, two dogs…..well, she was right. I had my second one within the year, and eventually had three of them at the same time. I have a little princess now, named ‘Gracie’, her photo is in the section about my dogs.
