In a word, your interview was TERRIFIC!

    Dear Danielle,
I’ve been reading your books for years and loved them all, and receiving your newsletter too. I’ve also been reading your blog since it began. Until now I’ve never seen you speak or be interviewed. I’ve only seen your wonderful pictures on book jackets with you all dressed up for the photographers. Just finished “Matters of the Heart”. What a great book! I couldn’t put it down. I am the 24/7 caregiver of my husband who has Parkinson’s disease. It’s a tough job and emotionally taxing all the time. I know your life has not been an easy one either. We are about the same aga but I don’t have nine children, only two, and four grandchildren. I haven’t lost a child like you have, your Nick. I hurt for you when that happened to you and your family. Keep up the great work and know how much your fans love you. Take time out for you. Makes us want you even more. Love always, Charlene

    Interesting interview.

Do you ever muse about the label of “romance novelist” over simply “novelist”, or even “writer”?

    Nice Interview!

I really enjoyed watching that! It was fun to see you in “real life” (lol) as opposed to a picture on the back of a book. I’m super excited about reading your new book. Do you have a list of all of the books that you’ve written? I didn’t realize you have had 108 published! Wow! Congratulations!

That was a very nice interview! After all these years of reading your books, since I was in my 20’s, it’s so nice to be online, in my 50’s, and be able to read about you. I think it’s cute you still write on the typewriter, and I totally understand that. Took me years to finally get on a computer. Can’t wait to read Matters of the Heart, on the library waiting list!! Have a nice day! Lorraine

    Danielle,

Mother received your note day before yesterday and was so thrilled to hear from you. You had forwarded the new website info and I told her I would look it up. She hasn’t mastered the computer yet; but she never ceases to amaze me, even at 92 years old! I can’t wait to show her this interview! She probably saw it on TV – she rarely would miss seeing you if she knew you were on!

She is most anxious for your new book to come out – she is always one of the first ones to read it. She just can’t put them down!

You are such a lovely lady and I thank you for taking time to write to her. She treasures your replies and is always so glad to hear from you.

    Have a wonderful week, Danielle.

You did awesome!! Looked beautiful and sounded great!! And, Matters of the Heart, is on my to-buy-list this weekend; what an interesting topic.

I loved what you said about telling your childrens’ age. Too funny and I need to adopt that as well.

    108 books, amazing, sweet lady!!!

I don’t think I have ever heard your voice before! You are as graceful and as beautiful as your characters. I have always enjoyed looking at your photos on the books, especially when I was in High School. Your books and I have been friends for a long time now… and it continues. Thank you .

    Dear Danielle,

It`s the first time I have the chance of seeing and hearing your voice. You have a truly sweet nature and now I can tell that some characters have that little feature of your personality. I just wanted to say that I didnt have the chance of reading most of your published books but I intend to do so, and my idea is to have a DS-bookcase with all of your books. I know that I will accomplish this in time. I`m from Argentina and I`m finishing college, in my free time I read your great stories. The way you describe characters, setting, and emotions is amazing; that makes me read on and on. Keep on being such a talented writer.
    My best regards,
    Cecilia
