12/24/18, “Happy Christmas!!”

Hi Everyone,

Happy Christmas!! It’s Christmas eve…..and all through the house, not a creature was stirring—-except at my house on Christmas, everyone is stirring. Two of my children couldn’t come home for Christmas this year, one has to be with her in laws, and the other has to work in Europe, so it will seem a little emptier than usual. The first year that any of them has missed Christmas at home.

I’ve been ridiculously busy getting ready for the holiday, and flying around. And I finally found the last gift four days ago, so I’m done. And still wrapping up my work, and reading research for the next book. There is always a lot to do at the end of the year!!!

I hope that you have plans that warm your heart, and that you’ll be spending Christmas with people who are dear to you, and mean a lot to you. My kids and I are going to watch some movies together, and just savor being together. We used to bake a lot at Christmas (brownies!!), but we haven’t done that this year.

Just know how grateful I am to you all year for your support, and have the merriest, happiest, best holidays ever!!

With all my love, Danielle

    Hi Danielle,

I hope that you and your family have a Happy Christmas and a wonderful 2019!

My 3 kids all came home, ate everything I had planned to eat for the next three days, decided my cookies are insufficient and are back at the store buying more food and more baking supplies, while I am left here at home with two of their pets — an extremely howly beagle and a very skittish cat.

Thank you for your books and your blog, which have meant so much to me over the years. I wish you a very blessed Christmas.

Christmas Blessings to a precious lady and her lovely family! My most beloved gift came from my daughter, who prepaid for the delivery of “Turning Point” and “Silent Night”. At last I received a long awaited copy of “Beauchamp Hall”. Eager to begin! I appreciate your talent, hard work, and the research that you put into your novels. You have encouraged and convicted me about mental health and discrimination issues, and the Vietnam War. Big thank you from me and the many others, whom you have blessed!

    Hi Danielle,
I came from a continent where it is not easy to get a copy of your book. Thank God, I am now in Europe that me and my wife enjoy reading your books finding them with almost no effort. I am glad that we have something in common that my kids go to French school and are multilingual (learning their 4th language).

Congratulations on your success and providing us with such great books that in a way are schools of life!

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you and your family.
