Summer Vacation Photos

Here are some photos of this summer’s family vacation.  These are pictures with my daughters Victoria, Vanessa and Samantha, on a boat in Italy, near Corsica (which is actually French).  We had a graduation party for Victoria, who graduated from college in May.  And the young man in one of the photographs is Vanessa’s boyfriend, Chad Muska, who is a famous skateboarder.  (Younger fans are sure to know who he is).  We had a great time!!

You and your daughters are so beautiful, and the water is so pretty. Nice dress in the 5th picture Danielle.

Your daughters look genuinely happy; that shows that you did a great job raising them! Thank you for sharing! 🙂

If you only knew how lucky you are to be surrounded by family and the loved ones. I haven’t seen my mom (except for talking on the webcam, which doesn’t count) since I moved to US at the age of 19 to pursue my dreams. I’m almost 28 now and every day I realize more and more what really is important in life. I miss my mom terribly and I’m glad that you get to be so near your children.

My daughter got married in May and the next week about 14 of us (including the newlyweds and my grandson) went on a cruise to the Bahamas together. I will never forget the fun we had and we are planning our cruise for next year. I’m hooked! These are great vacation photos and memories too. Enjoy the rest of your
    summer. Love always, Jo~

Thank you so much for sharing. I always enjoy seeing pictures of your beautiful family. I have four sisters, and know there is nothing like the times we all spend together with our mother, even though they become fewer as we grow older, but to me more dear. Men are such wonderful entertainment, but nothing beats “girl-time”.

    ms steel,

i’ve been your fan for almost ten years. i enjoyed reading a lot about your work, your life, in this blog site.

i was reading through your shopping closet article and i remember remember reading something in other sites that you are a jewelry collector (which was obvious as observed in the back cover photos of your books). i was wondering if how do you shop for jewelry? what are your tastes for jewelry? could you write an article for that, too? thanks..

more power and god bless you.

Hi Danielle, I live in Brazil where we also have the pleasure of having their works translated, you’re my heroine, my mentor and my kdu, I’ve been in difficult situations that inspired me in their books to me rebuild also write stories for my enjoyment but I do – one based in myself and in my life story. I imagine that this type of statement is one copstante in your life, but as I am one in the crowd, his work is unique for me. Thanks!

Wow! You are one of the most talented writers ever, my mother loved you and as I was growing up she would always try to make me a part of what she was doing, so when she read a book of you that was on film she would get it for me so that I could understand what was going on.
    Thank you!
For helping my mother create memories that I can now carry with me during her absents. She was a great fan and so am I.
when ever i read one of your books it brings back good memories of my parents who i miss dearly.
You and your daughters are truly beautiful
